So, I think I kind of like Alex again. And he's been trying really hard lately to get me to go out with him. And tonight I finally agreed, but then he realized he might have to work late. But then he said he wanted to hang out so badly that he wanted to know if I could when I got home tonight... which was like 11. Obviously I said no because, I mean I'm 16, I'm not allowed to go out at 11 to hang out with a boy.
Anyway, the ball is entirely in my court and it's... weird. Because I know if I want something to happen, it can, and if I don't want anything to happen then obviously I can stop it. But I'm not completely sure WHAT I want ugh.
So I was definitely wrong about this. I was in a weird mood I guess, but I DON'T like him. We're supposed to go to the park after school tomorrow and I really don't want to. But I'd feel so bad canceling... he's been talking about how excited he is and his status is "Can't wait for Friday!!!!!" I just think he's getting the wrong idea about all of this. But I can't back out now without feeling like an asshole.

Why do you feel like you have to? That must be incredibly difficult. You have to have someone you can talk to. i don't like it when everyone knows my business and if i tell one of my friends something everyone else figures out, mainly because none of them can be trusted. i've been in so many situations where a friend has confided in one of my other friends and asks them not to tell anyone and then they go running to everyone else saying how they promised they wouldn't tell, but they tell me and make me promise not to tell anyone. it's like why are you telling me in the first place. blahh sorry this is kind of turning into a rant, but it just sucks because i don't want everyone to know everything so i feel like i can't tell anyone.]]>
last year my roommate did a habitat for humanity trip in India. she contacted our school President to ask for a donation to cover part of the plane ticket and hotel and building materials, and he gave her $300.
so last week i contacted him and told him about light the night and that i was the team captain and how important it was to me. and he hasn't responded. i know he's busy and everything but he gave my roommate a check two days after she talked to him.

Confession: I am more appreciative of the silly little gestures you gentlemen give me than you will ever know. Grinning at me laughing at your technical difficulties and waving sheepishly at me, hugs from all of you, letting me loiter around the shop until you're actually ready to leave, and not just until you kick everyone else out. Making me smile, hugs just because, treating me like I belong, everything. It may just be a coffee shop, but it feels more like home and you guys feel more like family than anything or anyone else I have. I've been so much happier since loitering at that silly coffee shop on my 21st birthday until 2 in the morning and finding somewhere to belong. Thank you.

Could just be that I was reading older articles. Can't remember when I read it. I know he flip flopped on whether he did or didn't for a while, so hopefully he has finally kicked that habit, good for him.

i don't really know what you mean by that but if the barcode is crossed out/cut out/has a hole in it that means it was a free/promotional copy at one point
well, i got a brand new sealed copy from a webstore for about 25$. it's all mint except for the barcode slightly crossed by a little scratch. does really means it's a promo copy? I saw many copies with the same "defect" floating around. Other than that, there aren't promo stickers or anything else.]]>
